Eli Bieri

 After studying frogs and salamanders around the U.S. and South America, I completed a Fulbright-supported PhD project with Dr. Jodi Rowley at the University of New South Wales. My project aimed to untangle the effects of severe bushfires on amphibian survivorship and disease. Now, I'm leading a project to monitor endangered frogs at Australian Museum using genetics and eDNA techniques. When I'm not chasing frogs, you can usually find me on a surfboard or reading a Steinbeck novel. The purpose of this blog is to share some stories from my travel and research.
